8 Jul 2007
Martin Buckland had just gone to bed when this Land Rover careered off a road and into his 17th-century stone cottage.
The impact threw tonnes of stone across the living room, destroying the fireplace and furniture.
Mr Buckland, whose home is at an accident blackspot in Lydford-on- Fosse, Somerset, said: 'It was the biggest bang I have ever heard. He is a very lucky boy.'
