Man Shot Dead in car
Police discover a man shot dead in a Gold range Rover Nr Halewood.
A Ford focus was hit in Mackets Lane,the driver recieved Minor injuries But the Range Rover Driver was found to have been shot in the Head.
A murder hunt is now launched, and the area around Mackets Lane and Yew Tree Road remain closed- Drivers are warned to avoid this area.
Police are not clear as to the motive of the attack,or who fired the Shot, but Police are asking if anyone who was in the area at 21.15 pm last night 5th Jan 08 to come forward.
"It is imperative we find those resonsible" said Det Ch Insp Mark Wadmore. House to house is going on and CCTV Footage is being inspected.
"Merseyside Police will not tolerate the use of Firearms being taken onto our streets. Be sure our investigations will be thorough in taking this man's life."
