RAC say the UK Roads are a disgrace

MR BOD ask's-:

With all the money that local councils and Government receive from the Taxpayer,why is it that our roads are littered with potholes.

The RAC say that our Roads are causing damage to our vehicles,adding extra cost's to our motoring budgets.

Is this another way for the goverment to get extra revenue as we pay extra each year on repairs caused by our disintigrating roads.

Question:- Should motoring Cost's Be Free of VAT as we have paid for the roads to be resufaced properly
